Debra M. Parrish is a partner in the Parrish Law Offices in Pittsburgh, where her practice is concentrated in the area of science law, with a particular focus on research misconduct.

During her employment with the Office of Research Integrity, she worked closely with university counsel, Congressional staff, the Office of Inspector General and the Department of Justice on matters involving scientific misconduct. Since returning to private practice, a significant portion of her practice involves university, federal agency, and criminal investigations of research misconduct.

Ms. Parrish is a frequent author and speaker on that topic. She earned her J.D. from Duke University School of Law and her B.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.
